sgteam14283I’ve been tagged for the ‘25 random things about you’ meme but I’ve already done one of those, so I’ll do this one with a twist.
1. Majored in Elementary Education with a Minor in European History.
2. Met Daniel Jackson at a fundraiser, then once more at a mutual friends place, and they became friends. When the SGC decided to shore up relations with the Athosians by starting a school for the children, Daniel decided to submit her name for the position and traveled to Guatemala to tell her that she got the job.
3. Knows how to handle a P90 as well as a 9mm and is a decent shot.
4. Met Evan Lorne while on Atlantis and became friends with him. Knew that she wanted something more serious when she thought he had died in a fire off-world, only to learn that it had all been part of a plot by the Genii to get those with the Ancient Gene. Got married to him after returning to Earth when the Ancients took back Atlantis.
5. Disappeared with the Athosians for six months.
6. Has five children. The eldest, Anglia and Devon, are Athosians adopted when they returned after disappearing for six months. Miranda is the first of Max and Evan’s biological children; has red hair even though both parents are brunette’s. Jack and David are the youngest and twins; both have Evan’s eyes and Max’s hair.
7. Loves history; specifically European History. She finds the dirty facts of the monarchs much more interesting than the political history of the US and was considering living in France or Germany while studying for her Doctorate after saving enough money.
8. Met the Doctor at the private school she was teaching at and helped get rid of alien children who were using the school as their home. When he extended an invitation to travel with him she quit her job and climbed aboard the TARDIS.
9. Has met Mary Stuart (Queen of Scots), Henry Stuart (Lord Darnley), Queen Elizabeth I and Marie Antoinette.
10. Was at Kirk o’ Field when Darnley was murdered.
11. Was involved in the ‘Affair of the Diamond Necklace’.
12. Born in Chicago and raised there until she was 13 and her parents decided to move to Colorado.
13. Wants to live in San Francisco only because it doesn’t snow/get horribly cold there.
14. Loves to read. Will trade almost anything (within reason) on the “Atlantis Black Market” in order to get the latest fiction/science fiction/mystery/historical fiction/biography book.
15. Cheesecake is her kryptonite. Combine that with chocolate and she’s putty in your hands.
16. Is the middle of three; her brother is five years older and a pilot for a commercial airline while her sister is three years younger and works for the US Government (but has no idea about the Stargate Program).
17. Moved back to Chicago to attend University and lived with family up their while waitressing her way through school.
18. Vodka Martini straight up with a Twist, please.
19. Has broken her left arm and twisted both ankles.
20. Was locked in a small closet as a toddler for almost ten hours and as a result became closterphobic. While it’s gotten better over the years she still hates to be in small/enclosed spaces for long periods of time.
21. Had a tattoo of a fairy on her chest but got it removed because it made her too identifiable.
22. Made the Doctor dress in period clothing when they went to the 16th and 18th Centuries so they’d be able to move around easier than if they were wearing their own clothing (and plus she wanted to wear the dresses and such...not that she’ll ever willingly admit it).
23. Is a stress smoker. Almost chain smoked her way through Graduate school.
24. Loves classic rock; AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, STYX, Bon Jovi, Led Zepplin, Def Leppard (just to name a few). Wanted to see AC/DC live with the Doctor, but never got the chance.
