Ren Faire pt.2
Aug. 9th, 2009 12:51 pmIf you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.
It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.
Went to the Ren Faire again yesterday with Tori,
reyclou), one of her friends from NCC and her brother, plus
x5649). It downpoured in the morning...a few miles before we got to the Faire but by the afternoon it got sunny and hot/humid as hell.
But we had fun! Saw the Fire Whip show and it was pretty good, he didn't do everything that he did the last time I saw him but it was still entertaining. Then
x5649), myself, and
reyclou)'s friend and her brother (who, no offense, was kind of annoying) saw the Gypsy Geoff show again (he was hecking the Fire Whip guy from across the green). It was different again but still entertaining.
We also saw this Scottish bagpipe band (I forget their name) and it they were awesome. I kept wanting to see the all of their show but ended up only seeing bits and pieces. We actually saw them for the first time right when we got there and the headliner was saying how this was perfect weather for a Scot. They were selling CDs and the guy said that this was perfect for annoying your neighbors and "the next time some wanker drives alongside of you with their music too loud; put in our CD, roll down your windows and turn the volume way up."
^-^
And I decided to buy an outfit at the Faire! It's pretty spiffy and I can wear it when I go again (either at the end of the season or next summer) and for Halloween ;) It's a brown suede-material overdress with a burgendy underskirt and a off the shoulder off-white shirt. People took pictures and I felt very Ren Faire in it ^-^
Mostly we just wondered in seperate groups, meeting up for the Joust and a few other things.
The ride home was uneventfull this time because we took the GPS and used that instead of the print directions.
Pictures shall come soon, FB is being an $^!# pain in the ass and won't let me upload my most current batch.

Date: 2009-08-10 03:13 am (UTC)We brought along fake Kansas license plates as well. The cars weren't too hard to find. We managed to get into one of the ones that hadn't been redone for filming or anything, and we TOOK OFF! Through the rearview mirror I saw two guys running after us. None other than Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles mind you, who had been taking the Impala on one of their infamous joy rides...
We almost made it across the border when we were stopped by a man in the middle of the road (it was night by that time). The guy turned out to be none other than MISHA 'FUCKING' COLLINS! There was no way in hell that we were going to mess with Misha Collins. So we gave the car over to him, but he was just awesome enough to take us on our cross country road trip anyway!
